The national NHS staff survey for 2020 launched on Monday 05 October.

This survey is one of the best ways for you to share your views about your job, our Trust and the NHS. We use the results from the survey to improve care for our patients and working conditions for our staff.

In the 2019 survey we were delighted to see areas where we have seen improvement, including how our people experience their appraisal, their perception of their line manager and the culture of safety in the organisation.

We are working hard to improve in the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion, particularly in recruitment and development opportunities. With your feedback and active involvement we have focussed even more on this in the past year, with an increased diversity in interview panels, establishing the Cultural Ambassador role in the Trust and supporting staff networks to be heard.

We know there is more we can do. Please take a few moments to complete the survey and encourage your colleagues to do the same.

If you need help completing your survey, including translation services please contact the Freephone number 0800 103 2802.

The IT suite in the Deakin Centre is available on the following dates/times for staff to use to complete the survey.

  • Friday 16 October 12:30-20:00
  • Friday 23 October 12:30-20:00
  • Thursday 29 October 07:30-12:00
  • Friday 30 October 07:30-12:00

Your feedback is vital in helping us identify areas where we can improve further.

The survey will be emailed to you by a company called Picker, who administer the survey on our behalf. Please follow the link in the email to complete the survey.

Responses to this survey are strictly confidential – results are reported to the Trust anonymously and it is not possible to identify individual responses.
