Being a part of a staff network is a great way to ensure your voice is heard, have an impact, and be a part of positive change across the organisation. Staff networks are also safe spaces for staff to share concerns and support each other.
Our staff networks all currently meet virtually. Each of the networks are hosting weekly or fortnightly check-ins, in addition to the more structured monthly meetings, to support staff during this challenging time.
These check-ins are simply a space to chat, share any concerns and support each other over a cup of tea/coffee or lunch, with no formal agenda. Days and times are varied to hopefully suit a variety of working patterns. The more structured network meetings with an agenda will continue to take place monthly, and will of course still include time to check in with each other.

The BAME Network supports Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff to promote race equality and inclusion at CUH. The BAME network has co-produced our Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) action plan.

Time to Change Network
The Time to Change Network is for staff who are committed to changing the way we all think and act about mental health in the workplace and creates a safe space for staff to share ideas on how to achieve this. The network also runs the It’s Not Just You group – see below.
